Please come attend this exhibition preview co-sponsored by the Research Center on Violence at EVU and WVU's Dept of Sociology and Anthropology showcasing a preview of upcoming art exhibition by WVU alumna artist and therapist Jessie Haring. Through partnership with Libera, a non-profit in WV assisting the lives of rural girls, we are able to see a glimpse of the lives of rural incarcerated girls and assist in making an impact.

Greetings Friends and Colleagues! It has been a while since my last dispatch, but this doesn’t mean that Center affiliates have not been very busy. In fact, the last year was filled with much excitement and some prestigious achievements, including those listed in the section titled “What’s Happening at the Center?" Please click the link that leads you there and I’m sure you will be impressed by the Center’s recent accomplishments. For example, Center staff have externally funded research projects, have won major awards, and are active participants in international scholarly meetings.

Dr. Walter DeKeseredy was ranked #920 in the United States and #1854 in the world for Research.com's 2023 Best Scientists in Social Sciences and Humanities!  Congratulations.  Dr. DeKeseredy!
