Dr Heather Nancarrow AM recently retired from full-time work after a successful career in policy and research related to the prevention and response to violence against women and children. Her most recent full-time appointment was the inaugural CEO, Australia’s National Research Organization for Women’s Safety (ANROWS). Dr Nancarrow’s work is renowned nationally and internationally and was recognized in 2023 with the Australia Day award, Member of the Order of Australia (AM). -
