Center Director Dr. Walter DeKeseredy has guest edited a new special issue of the journal violence against women. Special thanks go to Dr. Claire Renzetti and to the contributors. Here is the link to this issue. 

“Author meets Critics- Woman Abuse in Rural Places” with rural crime listserve members. Dr. Walter Dekeseredy and five critics, including Dr. James Ptacek, Dr. Callie Rennison, Dr. Claire Renzetti, Dr. Sandra Walklate, and Dr. Sarah Wendt, are the participants at the panel. Center Director Walter DeKeseredy is the Guest Editor of a new special issue of The International Journal of Rural Criminology. There has never been a special issue of any other journal devoted entirely to disseminating contemporary international work on violence against women in rural communities. Thus, this issue is a historical milestone.

Center Director, Dr. DeKeseredy, has a new book featured in the Routledge Series in Rural Criminology entitled  Woman Abuse in Rural Places .
